The Air Jordan is getting a new stylish add-on to the collection this month. Included in the Brand Fall Collection the new Retro Shattered Backboard Jordans were supposed to come out on the first day of starting September, but they are currently being pushed to October the 2th. Talk and whispers were going around from November last year for a full orange sneaker that got fans excited. So Nike finally confirmed the shoe as a part of this year’s Jordans Brands Fall collection.
A new retro colorway is being introduced with orange and white dominating on the sneaker. They offer a sail hue all over the shoe with premium leather and a hint of black on the top. Inspired by the classic Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 1, this sneaker has a sports mesh and a reflective tongue that has some nice Total Orange branding details. The midsoles are orange and are they have these grayish speckled spikes. This arrangement is worthy of the “Shattered Backboard”. The lateral forefoot features shark tooth-shaped details. Outsoles have a muslin-colored look and are herringbone. We especially love how reflective they are which you can check out in some pictures below on GOAT.
As said, these are part of the Fall 2023 retro collection that saw the revival of some really amazing models. As the spring collection was a success, the fall one will feature fourteen new models. Most of the shoes are updated looks for old classics like the Air Jordan 1, 4, and 5. Another revival that we are super excited about is the 11 Low IE which brings a fresh look on a classic for 1996. The collection was headlined by the OG Air Jordan Xi Low E in the gorgeous black&red combo that looks out of this world. What is also interesting about the campaign is that the collection will include 4 exclusive styles that are only available for women.
