Asus’s Pixelmaster Camera App Now Has The Amazing Google Lens

The PixelMaster Camera app of Asus is now providing the Google Lens integration feature in its Zenfone models to give in an advanced experience. Google has broadened the availability of the Google Lens by providing it within the camera apps of companies like Motorola, Sony, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Asus, HMD Global/ Nokia, BQ, LG, TCL, and Transsion. OnePlus 6, Xperia Z72 and Xperia Z72 Compact were the first few phones to adorn the AI bases visual assistance feature. Real-time detection and smart text selection functionality are some of the amazing features of the Google Lens, as showcased at the I/O 2018. The element has now received a standalone app, as compared to its original availability in the Google app to give better direct access to its features.

As mentioned above, the Asus PixelMaster Camera app now has the feature of Google lens. This feature is available under the camera modes section, as reports the folks at Android Police. The ZenFone 5 which recently received a firmware update has also received this feature along with the update. The new upgrade has restored and upgraded the camera app to 4.1.12.2_180604M version. The listing of the app in Google Play, however, doesn’t show any recent update.

The new upgrade in ZenFone 5 has updated the camera feature. However, for now, it is not clear if the other variants of ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5 lite are also going to be getting a camera upgrade. Asus is expected to bring the update of the camera app to its earlier ZenFone models as well, as it has been a part of the early expansion of Google Lens feature.

The new camera update in the Asus’s handsets now enables its users to experience the world in a new amazing way, and for that, all they have to do is select the Google Lens from the camera modes on their phones. The latest inclusion of this feature enables the use of the camera as a scanner with contextual suggestions. AI< computer version, Augmented Reality (AR) and search are some more features that the new camera combines for better smarter results.

Introduced in the start of the month, Google Lens now has a new standalone app to provide direct access to this feature of original Lens. One can download the app from Google Play, but will have to check for compatibility as for now; it is only compatible on very few devices in this initial stage of launch.
