BlackBerry Motion Review – Is This The Come Back Phone For BlackBerry?

BlackBerry is the type of company that always tries to grow and expand well beyond its original ideas. It always manages to grow and take things to the next level, and the best part is that even if it does have a few issues here and there, it still works a lot better than you would imagine.

The BlackBerry Motion in particular has a 5.5 inch screen, there are no curved edges, ultra wide aspect ratios or anything like that. BlackBerry Motion does feature Android, and you also get a selfie cam, sensor and a fingerprint scanner added in the home button.

It’s nice to see that the BlackBerry Motion features USB type C, as you do get fast data capture and the results on their own are pretty good too. While the design does not impress, it’s functional and it does make the phone very versatile when it comes to its day to day use. The added texture does feel nice in the palm of your hand, and the product does have an impressive attention to detail that does make this unit stand out each time you use it.

The 5.5” display has a good performance. It’s an LCD panel, and you do get plenty of durability. The brightness is decent and the colors pop up on the screen, which in the end does make the experience quite impressive and interesting all the time.

The software they included here is pretty good. Convenience is the main focus, but they also add a lot of software functionality that defeats the purpose of having a hardware button. Yet if you get past all of that, you will find that results are quite interesting and visually enticing, which is what matters the most in this regard.

BlackBerry Motion sports a Snapdragon 625 and 4 GB of RAM. It’s more than ok for everything you need on a daily basis. It works quite nicely and the best part is that you get a tremendous attention to detail all the time. It’s interesting to see how all these things add up, and you will be pretty happy with the unit and what it has to offer.

Their camera has 12 MP and the front facer has 8 MP. It’s more than ok for the day to day user, and the pictures have a decent quality too. There are some out of focus moments that can be a bit frustrating, but that happens with most cameras like this.

The battery life is quite amazing to be honest. The 4000 mAh battery can be quite impressive, and it does go to show that there’s plenty of quality and value to be had in this regard. As a whole, the battery life does improve quite nicely, and the value is pretty interesting because of it.

Is this phone a good investment? The product is indeed a good one, and if you get past the brand name you will notice that this is a really interesting Android phone. Just like any other models it does have its hiccups, but in the end it’s a very capable and interesting phone!
