How to use olive oil for hair growth?

Everyone loves to have strong and healthy hair, but not everyone can have it. Many factors make our hair locks lose their strength and shine, stress, hormonal changes, lifestyle habits, to name a few. However, products like olive oil come to save the day!

Let’s see how to use olive oil for hair growth.

  1. Basic Olive Oil

Olive oil improves the growth of hair by removing impurities and decreasing sebum build up. Read on to see how to use it.

  1. Warm a little amount of extra virgin olive oil and massage it gently on the hair and scalp. Try to do this during the nighttime with your fingers for better results.
  2. Now wrap your hair in a warm and damp towel or cover them with a shower cap.
  • Leave the towel or the cap overnight on your head and wash the hair with a shampoo, the following morning.

Try doing this twice a week.

  1. Olive oil with Egg White and Honey

Using Olive oil with egg white and honey not only improves the hair growth but makes them grow faster and longer while keeping them healthier.

You will need-

  • Two egg
  • One tablespoon extra virgin Olive Oil
  • One tablespoon organic Honey

Follow the steps-

  1. Separate egg whites of both the eggs and mix in the Olive oil with honey. Whisk them thoroughly in a bowl so that the mixture becomes consistent.
  2. Now apply this mixture on your head and scalp.
  • Now cover your hair with a shower cap and wait for twenty minutes.
  1. Wash your hair using a sulfate-free shampoo and cold water.

Apply this mixture once a week.

  1. Olive Oil and Cayenne Pepper

The mixture of Cayenne Pepper and Olive Oil improves blood circulation in scalp making your hair grow faster and stronger.

You will need-

  • Half cup extra virgin Olive Oil
  • One teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Follow the steps-

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan on a low flame and add Cayenne pepper while stirring to avoid the clumping.
  2. Now turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool down.
  • Apply this mixture on the scalp while it is still a bit warm.
  1. Massage it gently and wash it off using a sulfate-free shampoo after two hours. If you wish then you can also let the mixture stay overnight.

Repeat this process thrice a week.
