LG V40 ThinQ Date, price, Features and Specifications

The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to be announced alongside other smartphones from the same company such as the LG G7 ThinQ, in May 2018. LG usually launches the V-series in September or October and this is why it is believed that this date might change.

Normally, the LG Company tries to cut down prices with the G-series in order to be able to compete with other companies. However, the story goes differently with the V-series. It is believed that the V40 will cost even more than its predecessor.

Experts in the subject presume that its price might start around 1,100 Euros which is not fit for a budget phone. If this price surprises you, it is best that we take a close look on the information that we have available regarding the LG V40 system specifications.

The screen of the new LG V40 is expected to have a 6-inch Quad-HD+18:9 POLED display with a 80% screen-to-body-ratio. There is still not trusted information regarding a notch on top of the screen as it has become so common in top tier smartphones.

Strong rumors (but still rumors) say that the new LG40 will perform processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with an Adreno 630 GPU. The information about the RAM is not very clear. Some say that it will come with 6GB RAM while other claim that it will be 8GB RAM.

There is a chance that both sides are correct and it presents the two variations just like the expected storage of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB that can be expanded via microSD. It will come with a 16MP selphie camera, stereo speakers, fingerprint scanner (since it is now a very common element in top tier phones), dual nano SIM slot, and a battery of 3400mAh. It will also run on
Android 8.0 Oreo.

These amazing specifications definitely tell us tha the LG V40 will be a great smartphone. We’ll just have to wait in order to see if it will worth what it costs. Most people say that it will be overpriced but we cannot say anything for sure since it is not out yet.
