Memorial Day Parade 2018 Ohio – Everything You Need To Know

On Monday, May 28, 2018, the public will be invited to a Parade and Ceremony at Memorial Day in Mason. The 2018 parade will feature Vietnam War veteran Terry McCurley and World War II Veteran Chuck Lonsdale at the Grand Marshals parade.

The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the American Legion Hall Post 194 located at 401 Reading Road. The parade will travel north on Reading Road and Main Street and then head south on Mason-Montgomery Road before concluding at Mason Veterans Memorial. The best place to see the parade is along US Route 42. UU Close to Mason Downtown Plaza.

The parade will be followed by a ceremony at the Mason Veterans Memorial l beginning at approximately 11:00 a.m. with the presentation of guest speaker Jim Browkaw, Captain and Veteran of 41 years of the Navy.

The City of Mason would like to thank the past and present military personnel of our Nation for their service to our country. During the Memorial Day weekend, active military and veterans can present their military ID at the Mason Community Center and the Lou Eves Municipal to get free access throughout the weekend and the City of Mason Golf Center for around free golf.
