Oppo F7 vs. Vivo V9 – Camera, Photo, Battery and Performance Test

The iPhone X may have been the one to introduce us the Top Notch stylish feature, but there is no denying that the Oppo F7 and the Vivo V9 have perfected the trend and they both feature the slimmest Top Notch to date, and they simply look awesome.

The Oppo F7 comes out swinging with a whopping 6.23 inches display, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. And much like the Vivo V9, it features very slim bezels, due to the top notch, it also allows you to choose which applications run at full 18:9 ratio or less, in case the interface is affected by the notch, but also due to it, it lacks the ability to optimize notification icons.

In general terms, the Oppo F7 feels like a premium handset, with that glossy back panel, that even though it looks great, as you may know, they are prone to get dirty a lot, smudges, fingerprints all over the place, so make sure you purchase a case as well.

Deeping into the interior of the Oppo F7, it is powered by a Mediatek Helio P60 processor with 4 GB RAM and the battery life is also incredibly good, a full charge lasts for a whole day easily.

The Vivo V9 has a 6.3 inches display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and very sleek bezels that are simply stunning when looking at, and much like the F7 you can pick and choose which apps to run at a full ratio and which cannot.

The Phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 with 4 GB RAM, which quite frankly is a pretty similar configuration to the F7, so, in terms of processing power whichever you choose, will be the same.

However, in terms of battery is a bit lacking, you may be required to at least charge it twice a day, with each charge lasting approximately 8-9 hours.

Camera wise, the Vivo V9 has a 24 MP frontal camera and dual lens camera at the rear, 16MP, and 5MP. While the Oppo F7 has a 16 MP Rear single lens camera, while the frontal camera has a whopping 25MP resolution and both devices are capable of video recording at 1080p.
