PM Modi to Inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019

Vibrant Gujarat Summit is set to take place on January 18. The heads of 5 countries – Czech Republic, Denmark, Rwanda, Republic of Malta and Uzbekistan will be attending the summit. The inauguration will be done by PM Modi at the Ahmadabad shopping Festival. The honorable Prime Minister will reach Sabarmati River Front along with Vijay Rupani, Gujarat Chief Minister. He will make a token purchase at the shopping festival and will formally initiate the festival.

Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Vibrant Gujarat is a biennial summit for investors held by the Government of Gujarat and aims to bring investors, corporations, business leaders and policymakers together to explore the business opportunities in Gujarat.

International Guests at the 9th Edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit

The 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit will welcome heads of 5 countries viz., Czech Republic, Denmark, Rwanda, Republic of Malta and Uzbekistan at Gandhinagar.

After the inauguration, PM Narendra Modi is expected to hold one-on-one meetings with the leaders of these nations speaking on the importance of the summit. Later, he will also host them a dinner.

GCCI’s Invitation to Pakistan

Sources confirm of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) to have sent invitations, inviting international chambers of commerce from various countries. Pakistan is one among these countries to receive the invitation to Ahmadabad shopping Festival. It is the GCCI that has put forth the invitation to all the countries and not Gujarat government. The officials are expecting 115 delegations from about 15 countries. At the same time, UK and USA have chosen to not attend the Gujarat summit this year.

Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019, is a 3-day event from 18th to 21st January, where about 26,380 companies and 20,000 delegates have registered to make it a successful event.
