The year 2017 was an amazing year for Xiaomi since it made more than RMB 100 Million in revenue. The company’s biggest market outside China is India and there, it became the greatest smartphone dealer in the market by the end of the year.

Along with the Note 5, the Note 5 Pro is the first smartphone included in the affordable Redmi series that performs a large 18:9 display. The Note 5 Pro presents a bezel around the display that has a decent size. However, the larger sized is made up by the curved corners. It might take some days to get used to the weight since 181 grams does not qualify for a very light phone. This does not mean that it is uncomfortable to hold.

Its appearance is a matter that concerns more than one person. It has been pointed out that the design of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is not as attractive as other phones that are within the same tier. However, this fact is also made up by the fact that it possesses a great display. In this case Xiaomi has cleverly adopted the trendy 18:9 ratio of the displays that are performed by the most popular top tier brands. This display has 5.99 inches with Full-HD+ IPS and has a resolution of 2160 x 1080, which translates into a pixel density of 403ppi.

Xiaomi has made the Redmi Note Pro 5 their first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomn Snapdragon 636 which is their latest chipset that had been announced since last year in October. The Note Pro 5 comes in different variants, the ne with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB for internal storages and the one with 6 GB RAM with up to 128 GB storage. Thanks to this, its performance and multitasking are actually very smooth and it can run virtually anything that is thrown at it. It comes with a battery of 4000mAh which gives the Note 5 Pro dozens of hours of durability making it undoubtedly a great cellphone for this new incredible company.
