The Samsung Galaxy J8 2018 is one of the most recent products launch by the smartphone company in response to the market replies of an improved device from the firm line.

The device is operating under the Android 8.0 (Oreo) system with a chip from the Exynos family, more precisely an Exynos 5 Octa 7885 with an Octa-core processor at 2.2GHz with a 4GB of RAM and an internal memory of 32GB, expandable to 256GB with the usage of a micro SD card.

Most of multimedia files are reproduced by the device, especially in the audio area; in the video department, the machine supports MPEG4, H.263 and H.264 formats and it provides a 3.5 mm audio jack for private listening. The videos can be reproduced at a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a density of 267dpi.

The smartphone is provided with two cameras as most of the devices on this range. The primary camera at the back is at 12MP with LED flash and features autofocus, touch to focus, face detection, Digital Zoom and Geo Tagging. The front or secondary camera is at 8MP and it also includes the features from the main one. Video recording is at the range of 1920 x 1080 resolutions and it can be used for video calling or sharing. And it is also a good product to run video games efficiently thanks to the processor and RAM characteristics.

The screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4 is at 5.5 inches and a Super AMOLED mode which allows the best color display. The response to the fingers is an improvement in this device from other smartphones in the same range.

In the connectivity area, the phone has proved useful in the different bands available, but most important is the ability to use the 4G band in several places. Plus, the usual connection through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the USB plug for storage and computer connectivity and for charging.

Additionally, this smartphone provides with a light sensor, a proximity sensor and a fingerprint sensor in the front of the device.

The newest addition to the J series is definitely one of the mid-range phones with several features that would satisfy the common user as well as the habitual one.
