Vogue Women of Year Awards 2018: A star studded event

Most of the Bollywood’s stylish stars attended the Vogue Women of The Year Awards 2018 on 27th October and some of them even went on to win awards at this event. From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Radhika Apte, everyone shone on the red carpet in their dazzling outfits.

While Alia Bhatt went on with a sexy semi-sheer Roberto Cavalli dress, Janhvi Kapoor was seen in an equally stunning and heavily embellished Falguni & Shane Peacock gown.

Alia won the Vogue and Lamborghini Youth Icon of the Year which she received from her father Mahesh Bhatt.  Later she posed on the red carpet along with her father and Raazi director Meghna Gulzar. Meghna Gulzar won the Vogue Filmmaker of the Year Award for her movie Raazi.

Janhvi posed on the red carpet along with her with Dhadak co-star Ishaan Khatter and Karisma Kapoor. Radhika Apte who won the Vogue Trends Disruptor of the Year (Female) was seen in a red Johanna Ortiz off-shoulder gown.

The sister-duos Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were also seen at the event. Karishma wore silver dress and was there to present Kareena, the Vogue and IWC Schaffhausen Style Icon of the Year Award. Kareena received the award in a shimmering Naeem Khan gown with a plunging neckline. She not only thanked her sister but went on to call Karishma as the most stylish women compared to her.

The fashion statement was not just made by women but also by some of the leading men of the Bollywood industry.

The Andhadhun and Badhai Ho famed actor, Ayushmann Khurrana attended the event in a classy yet trendy black suit. While Ayushmann won the Vogue Man of the Moment Award, Ranbir Kapoor bagged the Vogue Man of the Year Award, although he gave the event a miss.

Along with them, Vicky Kaushal was seen in velvet black suit and won the Vogue Trends Disruptor of the Year (Male) Award.

The event was attended by Bollywood’s most stylish Director and Producer, Karan Johar who looked voguish in a Dolce and Gabbana floral suit and pants, and a fancy pair of Gucci shoes.

Along with these the event was graced by Kiara Advani, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Preity Zinta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrat Bharucha, Ileana D’Cruz, Mouni Roy, Mandira Bedi and many more.
